Grant fox has practiced law in Mississippi for over three decades. He has a vast institutional knowledge of all three branches of state government in the Magnolia State. As the son of well-known litigator & country lawyer John P Fox of Houston, Mississippi, Grant grew up around courthouses & law offices, and absorbed much "horse sense" from his father who tried many cases in the state and federal courts of North Mississippi. Following law school, Grant worked on Capitol Hill in Washington DC for US Senator Thad Cochran. Since returning to Mississippi in 1994, he has represented a diverse clientele including individuals and large companies. He has served as a municipal court judge and a hearing officer with the Mississippi State Personnel Board, which has given him an understanding & knowledge of most state agencies. He is regarded as a lawyer who is consulted for crises management on a wide range of issues. He is admitted to practice law in Mississippi, Arkansas, and Tennessee. Grant has lobbied at the Mississippi Capitol in the area of health care and has also represented utilities and telecommunications companies. He provides executive counsel to his clients on many issues involving public policy. He has developed relationships with many legislators, statewide elected officials, and executive level staffers at state agencies over the decades. Grant and his wife Sara reside on a farm near Brandon, Mississippi. Their son John is a senior at Mississippi State University. They are members of Steen's Creek Presbyterian Church.
