Mississippi Health Advocacy Program

The Mississippi Health Advocacy Program (MHAP) strives to be a strong, effective voice for all throughout the state of Mississippi. MHAP promotes health system change by developing innovative health and human services policy and monitoring implementation around issues of Medicaid/CHIP eligibility, food policy, and health care reform. Mississippi Health Advocacy Program combines research, analysis and grassroots organizing to improve health policies, practices and funding in Mississippi, especially in support of the state's poor and underserved people.
